Provincial Office
The central administration of Holy Name Province is located in the heart of New York City. It is responsible for the care of our almost 400 members, orchestration of our many ministries, as well as maintaining our relationships with the dioceses in which we live and minister in the East Coast of the USA, as well as a few other countries. As we are just one of the many provinces of the Order of Friars Minor (the Franciscan Friars), this central office is also the primary link to our international headquarters in Rome, Italy.

Other Provincial Offices
Office for the Promotion of Vocations:
"The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few." [Mat 9:37.8] The Franciscan Vocation Ministry attends to those who believe they are called to live in fraternity as a Franciscan and to do the work of the Province. They listen and try to assist those men who are trying to discern if God calls them to this way of life.

Friar Formation & Education
The Program of Initial Formation is a gradual process of personal, spiritual, and ministerial development. During Initial Formation, a candidate is helped to develop his personal character and theological understanding so he will be able to live and work effectively with other men as a Franciscan friar in service to the Church. The friar's initial formation concludes with the profession of solemn or final vows, an event which fully incorporates him into the Province and the Franciscan Order.

Office of Communications
Communicating information to the members of the Province, its partners in ministry and the public at large is the mission of the Communication Office. By using electronic publishing methods as well as traditional print publications, the office keeps its constituencies up-to-date on news of the Province's ministries and people.
Publications such as the HNP Today newsletter and The Anthonian magazine are two of the products of this office. In addition, the Communications Office serves as the Province's contact point with external media.

Office of Development
St. Anthony's Guild is the name of our Development office. With a focus on our mission to "bring the gospel into the everyday experience of all people" the Guild seeks the means for the friars and our partners in ministry to give Franciscan witness, "especially to the alienated, the immigrant and the poor." The Guild seeks out the generosity of those who would like to assist and promote the Province in this good work.
